Book Patrol on Fine Press Books

Michael Lieberman has an essay in the latest Alcuin Society newsletter. In "Fine Presses and the Bookseller," Lieberman discusses some of the hurdles he's encountered in working with fine press and book arts "producers," and suggests some alternative distrubution methods which might benefit all sides. As he concludes, "It is our responsibility as book artists, printers, booksellers, librarians and, more importantly, as people who love and cherish the book as an object of beauty to make certain we are doing all we can to work together to further our cause."
