The Free Library of Philadelphia has launched a new website to showcase its collections of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts. There's a very nice introduction to medieval manuscript history, use, and production, along with a tour through some of the highlights and a searchable database.
This is a work in progress, to be updated regularly through the next year. The project was funded partly by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
